Interested in how you can better utilize public records?
Bring your notepads and questions to Access Across America II, a national SPJ program hosted by the San Antonio Express-News and featuring OSU School of Media and Strategic Communications professor Joey Senat.
Introducing Professor Senat will be Mike Leary, the new executive editor for the SAE-N, who takes the newsroom's helm Aug. 6.
The FREE program, which lasts two hours, focuses on how to access public records and will include ideas for record-based stories, how to make requests more efficient and how to avoid denials and steep fees.
Refreshments will be provided.
