'Tis the season to be thankful, and we here at SPJ San Antonio would like to express our gratitude to our members and others who've supported our rebirth in recent months.

On Thursday, Nov. 29, we'll gather at The Brooklynite, a new cocktail bar downtown with plenty of parking and food trucks. Pumpkin pie and whipped cream will be provided, and happy hour prices will apply to their delectable drinks.

We've had a great few months together, from the first event featuring Rick Casey to Gridiron and happy hours, and we're looking forward to many more. Members, potential members, media community supporters: Please join us!
